Choosing a good driving school is very important. A good driving school is one that does not only focus on passing the driving test rather instilling to drivers safe driving habits that last a lifetime.
Therefore, when selecting a driving school ask:
Whether the driving school has a structured lesson planner
Does the school has a good reputation and customer testimonials
Whether the driving instructors are accredited, licensed and well trained
What are other learning materials and do they offer a progress driving report?
Ask about flexibility, time, pick and drop off points
Do they offer private personalised training or shared with vehicle with other students?
Q: Why use a driving school?
When you select a good driving school you are making an investment that will pay itself. This is because the school offer new drivers skills that will use them to not only pass the driving test but also teach them lifelong safe driving habits. This enable the new drivers to use these skills in a defensive situations. The goal is to predict the unpredictable and know where the risks / hazards are at all times.
Q: How long will it take me to learn to drive an automatic car?
Firstly, what does it mean to learn to drive? Is it only the controlling of the vehicle or being able to drive an automatic car with a low risk? The answer to this is of course, to learn to drive with the lowest risk possible.
So how long will this take?
The correct answer is, many, many, many years of applying the correct driving skills and nurturing them every time you drive.
However, to learn just to pass the driving test can take as low as 100 hours. Some drivers will need well over 100 hours and possibly even 200 hours. It all depends on the individual.

A driving school is recommended to learner drivers, however experienced drivers will also benefit so it is recommended.
Experienced drivers develop unsafe habits, also the road regulations have been amending therefore updating the road rules and correcting their safe driving habits is recommended to experienced drivers. We provide refresher courses to experienced drivers.
